
Queen City Juneteenth Festival is partnering with Charlotte Museum of History to present the Fourth Annual Queen City Juneteenth and One Year Reopening of Siloam School on Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Charlotte Museum of History, 3500 Shamrock Drive, Charlotte, North Carolina.
This is a free event, held on the grounds on the museum, but regular admission will be charged for entrance to the museum.
The Fourth Annual Queen City Juneteenth Cultural Celebration is presented in partnership with the One-Year Anniversary of the Reopening of the Historic Siloam School.
This year’s cultural festival will be held on the historic grounds of The Charlotte Museum of History—land that was once part of the Alexander Plantation, now transformed into a site dedicated to education, preservation, and truth. Hosting a Juneteenth celebration on this land offers a powerful space to honor Black history, resilience, and progress.

The museum will feature special access to the restored Siloam School building, where museum educators and members of the Save Siloam Committee will be on hand to share the story of the school’s legacy and the community’s role in preserving it.
Guests are also invited to take part in Juneteenth-themed tours of the 1774 Rock House, connecting the past and present through stories of survival, strength, and community. With a focus on youth leadership and Black excellence, this event brings together families, educators, artists, historians, and advocates for a day of learning, joy, and cultural pride.
