Poor No More is an organization that operates a free store, to help empower poor and working poor individuals and families in Charlotte. The free store is held periodically. No registration or application is necessary. People who are in need can just visit and pick up clothing or household items.

On Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 2 to 5 p.m., in collaboration with Charlotte Black Pride, Poor No More is holding a Holiday Giveback at Johnson C. Smith University’s Grimes Lounge, 100 Beatties Ford Road, Charlotte, North Carolina.
If you are in need, please come by!
You can expect:
- Free brand new clothes from Belk
- Free non-perishable food
- Toiletries and household items
- Free hot lunch
- Games
- Entertainment
- Free gift for children up to age 16, while supplies last
