Be a Tree Detective

Tuckaseegee Arboretum & Gardens
701 Tuckaseegee Road, Charlotte, NC

Charlotte’s trees provide so many benefits to our communities, such as providing clean air and water, reducing erosion, providing shade, reducing energy costs, providing wildlife habitat and a myriad of health benefits. Like humans, sometimes trees don’t make it obvious when they are sick or under stress. But with a little detective work, you can identify common ailments.
Join Landscape Management’s City Arborist Group for an educational workshop on common tree issues, how to prevent them and when to call a certified arborist for help. This program will have an indoor classroom component, followed by an outdoor program on the grounds of Landscape Management offices, a recently certified arboretum.
Please bring sun and insect protection and wear comfortable walking shoes. Water and light snacks will be provided.
