National Popcorn Day is Monday, January 19, 2026, and it’s a popular event at movie theaters, for obvious reasons. Read on to learn about a few deals. Please note that two of these deals start before National Popcorn Day.

Regal
On January 19, 2026, dress up in your favorite costume and head to a Regal near you to score a FREE large popcorn. Come prepared to tell the person working the concession stand who you’re dressed as.
AMC Theatre
For National Popcorn Day, AMC Theatre is focusing on its AMC Popcorn Pass. The pass costs $29.99 plus tax and offers 50% off a large popcorn every day through the end of 2026. If you buy an AMC Popcorn Pass you can get a free large popcorn on National Popcorn Day Weekend, January 16 to 19, 2026. One per pass.
Cinemark
Cinemark once again has a big National Popcorn Day deal. On January 18 and 19, 2026, Cinemark will load “your bucket” with popcorn for just $5 at participating locations. (Select locations will also offer kettle corn.)
Your container can be up to 400-oz. That’s equivalent to two (2) XL popcorns.
All containers must be clean and sanitized before use. Cinemark will also provide a complimentary food-grade liner for all popcorn fills.
Limit one fill-up per person.
