Mountain Island Library's 20th Anniversary and Grand Opening March 7

Mountain Island Library, at 4420 Hoyt Galvin Way, Charlotte, North Carolina, is celebrating its 20th anniversary and grand re-opening on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The free celebration includes a story time at 10 a.m., crafts and more.

In addition, NC State Extension Master Gardeners will be holding a workshop on spring vegetable gardening at 10 a.m. Participants will get to make their own DIY seed starter, while supplies last.

The plant swap will take place after the lecture. Bring a cutting or small plant you’d like to swap.
