Morehead Tavern, at 300 E Morehead Street, Charlotte, North Carolina, is getting into the Halloween spirit with a Haunted House Pop-Up!
Morehead’s Haunted Tavern will run for 13 days:
- Thursday to Saturday from October 5 to 28, 2023
- Tuesday, October 31, 2023

There are two components to Morehead Tavern’s haunt:
The bar itself will be haunted, with ghosts and goblins roaming around. You can expect spooky cocktails and appetizers, and a live DJ every weekend. The bar will open at 6 p.m. Age 21+.
In addition, there will be a separate haunted house exhibit, which will include spooky features like animated zombie children, a ghoulish grandmother, a masked murderer and much more. The haunted house will be open from 7 p.m. until midnight All ages are welcome, but kids under age 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Tickets are required for the haunted house. Tickets for the haunted house are sold on Eventbrite, and Eventbrite fees are added.
- General admission: $20
- Group of 4 people: $65
- Group of 10 people: $150
Dates could sell out quickly, so order tickets now.
Morehead’s Haunted Tavern will also partner with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Carolinas – a 501(c)(3) organization that creates and supports one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth – to spread joy to children. Patrons are asked to bring new or lightly used toys, board games or arts and crafts items for donations.
