These events are planned by the Dr. MLK Jr. Celebration Planning Committee of Concord-Cabarrus.

MLK DreamDay Parade
Saturday, January 13, 2024
11 a.m.
The MLK DreamDay Parade will begin on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at MLK Avenue & Main Street at 11 a.m.
The parade will march the length of Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue and end at the Atrium Ballpark.
MLK Dream Day at the Ballpark
Saturday, January 13, 2024
10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Atrium Health Ballpark
1 Cannon Baller Way, Kannapolis, NC
Free
This gates will open at 10 a.m. and the event will start after the parade arrives. Check back soon for details.
Memorial March and Wreath Laying
Monday, January 15, 2024
11:30 a.m.
The march will begin at Barber Scotia College, 145 Cabarrus Avenue, Concord, at 11:30 a.m. It will end at MLK Plaza, 19 Cascade Drive, Concord, where the Wreath-Laying Ceremony will take place at 12 p.m.
