Olde Mecklenburg Brewery, 4150 Yancey Road, is hosting Mecktoberfest for two weekends in September, 2022. It will take place September 16th to 18th and September 23th to 25th. This event is always one of the biggest Oktoberfest events in Charlotte.
We’ve put together a big list of Oktoberfest celebrations in the Charlotte area! Check it out for the Wiener dog races, stein hoisting competitions, bratwurst, beer and more!
Festival hours are 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and 11 am. to 10 p.m. on Sundays.
On both weekends you can get Das Boot, OMB’s famous one liter glass boot, which will be released on Friday, September 16th. Fill up that boot with the award-winning Mecktoberfest Märzen Lager, Copper Altbier, Captain Jack Pilsner, 704 Hazy Session Ale, or Hornets Nest Hefeweizen.
Besides the beer, wine, hard seltzer, Prosecco and local ciders will also be available.
Pretzels, sausages and more German-style food items will be available for purchase.
Each day the Holzhackern Tyrolean Band will be performing spirited renditions of traditional Oktoberfest songs.
Look for updates on the Facebook events for Mecktoberfest Weekend 1 and Mecktoberfest Weekend 2.
