Mecklenburg Oktoberfest is a new event for 2023. It takes place Saturday, October 7, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., on Truist Field, 324 South Mint Street, Charlotte, NC.
This festival is FREE to attend. Purchase festival coins for food and drink. gyro.
Mecklenburg Oktoberfest combines two popular events, the Pink Cupcake Walk and the Pumpkin Patch, and expands them into a full day of festivities.

Pink Cupcake Walk for Breast Cancer
The Pink Cupcake Walk is an event that raises funds for financial assistance to families battling breast cancer. Participants will receive a t-shirt and four mini-cupcakes to enjoy as they walk four laps around the baseball field. The cost is $35. It starts at 9:30 a.m. Registration required.
Charlotte Knights Pumpkin Patch
Charlotte Knights Pumpkin Patch presented by CIRCLE K: The Charlotte Knights Pumpkin Patch on the field is back! Bring the family and pick out the best pumpkin for the season. Pumpkin Painting, decorating and other fall activities throughout the day.
Biergarten
The Biergarten features beers from Olde Mecklenburg Brewery, Legion Brewing, and Gilde Brewery.
The entertainment schedule:
- 11 a.m.: OOPS Polka Band
- 2 p.m.: Frankfurt Wheelbarrow
- 7 p.m.: Lagerhosen
Wienzelt
The Wienzelt features wines from Cupcake Vineyards.
Blazing Keys Dueling Pianos will be performing throughout the day, starting at 12 p.m.
Bauernmarkt
Shop the Bauermarkt Farmer’s Market for fresh produce, handmade items, art, crafts and more.
Kinderspielplatz
You can purchase a $15 wristband for unlimited fun on all inflatables, or buy a $20 wristband, which also includes the climbing wall and gyro. Or you can use festival coins for the climbing wall and gyro.

You can expect to find plenty of pretzels and sausages. There will even be a Brat contest, so you can vote on your favorite.
