MakerSpace Charlotte is community where makers, programmers, scientists, engineers, students and creative minds have access to equipment and building space for a supportive shared learning experience.
Their 2700 square feet space is at 900 Pressley Road, which is in Southwest Charlotte, very convenient to I-77.
They do a lot of interesting things, like a welding, making an electric guitar and rocket design.

Open House — Build and Chill
Every Wednesday (currently scheduled from January 8th to October 28th, 2020)
7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Come visit the 2700 sq ft MakerSpace as and hang out, work on projects and discuss project ideas. The facility has 3D printers, laser cutters, electronics area (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Robots, etc), wood shop (w/CNC router), metal/fab shop, crafts studio, and much more.

Every Friday (scheduled from January 3rd to December 11th, 2020)
7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Meet the members and take a tour of the 2,700 sq. ft. MakerSpace with 3D printers, laser cutter, electronics area (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Robots, etc), wood shop (w/CNC router), metal shop, crafts studio and more. If you home school or are a teacher, they can arrange daytime activities for groups. If you have a STEM or maker related skill that you would like to teach, they can arrange for classes at our space. They also host meetup groups and have a very active outreach program serving the Charlotte community.
