LoSo Block Party August 2 - Charlotte On The Cheap

The LoSo Block Party will take place Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 12 to 8 p.m. at multiple venues in the Lower South End.

It’s free to attend and is pet-friendly and family-friendly.

Southside Drive and Yancey Road will be closed off to drivers in this area.

The party includes:

Live music from Nashville’s Diamond Dixie (5 to 8 p.m.)
Red Bull DJs keeping the vibe high all day
Cornhole Tournament Queen City Cornhole
Games & activities for the grown-ups
A full-on kids’ play zone
Chill-out water stations
Mouth-watering food & drinks
Tons of prizes, giveaways, and surprises

Raffle tickets will be sold (1 ticket for $5; 3 tickets for $10) benefiting Hospitality House of Charlotte, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to create a supportive community for patients seeking vital medical care.
