
Lights, Camera, Access is a film festival celebrating the 35th anniversary of the signing of the Americans with Disability Act.
The screenings take place at three different parks and recreation centers in the Charlotte, NC area. All screenings are free to attend, but registration is requested.
The event aims to foster awareness, inclusion, and a greater understanding of disability rights while providing an engaging and educational experience.
All movie screenings are sensory-friendly. The movies will be captioned. There will be a sensory area or tent at each screening.
Food truck vendors will be on hand.
On Saturday, the panel will discuss disability in the arts and the impact of the ADA on artists with disabilities.
