If you want to save money on shows, and you’re flexible, you might want to try Blumenthal Arts’ Last Minute Tickets.

With Last Minute Tickets, you go to the box office starting two hours before the show, and if there are tickets available you can get them for a discounted price. Sometimes you can get a great seat for less than the price of the cheapest seat.

They don’t want empty seats!

The catch is that you might get there and the Last Minute Tickets are all gone. If you can, arrive in time to be near the front of the the line two hours before show time.

And be prepared to find a different way to entertain yourself in Uptown Charlotte if there are no tickets.

Six — The Musical, for $46.12 (November 4-9, 2025, at Belk Theater)
Randy Rainbow, for $40.76 (November 9, 2025, at Knight Theater)

Keep in mind that sometimes when you go to that page, there will be no shows listed, which just means that there are currently no Last Minute Ticket offers.

Also, you can fill out a form so that you’ll be notified when a show has Last Minute Tickets Offers.

Finally, if you’re a student you’re also eligible for Student Rush Tickets. They’re similar to Last Minute Tickets, in that you go to the box office two hours before the show, but they’re often even less expensive.
