Kings Mountain Historical Museum, at 100 East Mountain Street, Kings Mountain, North Carolina, features archives and objects related to the City of Kings Mountain. It’s free to visit.
The current exhibit is People & Place: The Gilded Age of Kings Mountain, NC. Running through October 23rd, 2021, this exhibit focuses on the time period between 1870 and 1900. The exhibit explores the beginning of Kings Mountain and the dramatic cultural transformation that took place during that time period.
World War II Living History Day is a special event that will take place July 24th, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 4 .m. It’s free to attend.
