When Dave Portnoy of Barstool Sports visited King of Fire Pizza he gave it a rating of 4.9, which is not so great. But King of Fire owner Siler Chapman didn’t take it personally.
Instead he acknowledged that everyone’s taste in pizza is different, and, anyway, as a UNC Charlotte alumnus, 4.9 is a pretty special number.
So, joined by fellow 49er Norm, he announced that on Saturday, May 3, 2025, the first 100 customers can get any pizza for just $4.90.
They open at 11 a.m.
So stop by and try some pizza, and decide for yourself!
