
Urban District Market and Seoul Food Meat Co. are hosting their second annual Japan Fest on Saturday, May 17, and Sunday, May 18, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., each day. The festival takes place at Urban District Market, 2315 N Davidson Street, Charlotte, North Carolina.
The closet light rail station is at 25th Street.
It’s free to attend and open to all ages. No outside food allowed.

- 3 p.m.: Charlotte Kendo Club demonstration
- 3:30 p.m.: SAIL Dance and Taiko Drums
- 4:30 p.m.: Ramune chugging contest
- 5 p.m.: Karaoke contest
- 8:30 p.m.: Movie: Spirited Away
Sunday, May 18
- 11:30 a.m.: Matsuri Games start
- 12 p.m.: Japanese songs by Soa
- 1 p.m.: Ramune chugging contest

- 2 p.m.: J-Pop Dance by Hana Akari
- 3 p.m.: Queen City Suzuki Violin
- 3:30 p.m.: Raffle price drawing by Japanese Association in Charlotte
