International Beer Day is celebrated the first Friday in August every year. It was founded in 2007 in Santa Cruz, California and has since spread throughout the world.
International Beer Day is celebrated by trying a new beer, especially one from a different culture, buying beers for friends and expressing gratitude to brewers and bartenders.
There are a couple of special International Beer Day events scheduled in the Charlotte area for August 7, 2026. Then read on for a list of some of the many events at breweries coming up all week! Or you can jump right to the list of events.
