Lake Norman Diwali Celebration on Oct. 17

Heart2Harmony Inc. is presenting Lake Norman Diwali, in partnership with Huntersville Parks and Recreation.

It will take place on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 1:30 to 6:30 p.m., at Veterans Park, 201 Huntersville-Concord Road, Huntersville, North Carolina.

This celebration is free to attend, and features:

• Entertainment
• Diwali Express, with a festive ride through the beautiful Veterans Park
• Giant bouncy house
• Cultural Performances, including dances, dance drama story and a fashion walk
• Art & Kids Activities – “Light within” art competition select display, amusement activity for kids.
• Indian Outfit Try-Out – Step into the colors of tradition by trying on sarees, ghagras, sherwanis, and turbans. A unique cultural experience for the whole family! Sign ups will be made available.
• Food Vendors – Savor authentic Indian street food, snacks, sweets and multi-cuisine options.
• Shopping Bazaar – Explore clothing, jewelry, handicrafts, and festive décor from local vendors.
• Zumba, Dance Floor and Community Spirit – Bring family, friends and your unique fun dance moves to groove to the beats finale. A chance to connect, celebrate, and make lasting memories.
• Grand Diya Lighting Ceremony & Light Show – Light up the night with hundreds of diyas symbolizing hope and new beginnings.
