Every Halloween, a Charlotte family turns their otherwise normal backyard in Steele Creek into a haunted maze. Previously known at Terror in Riverwood, now it’s The Haunting of Parkside.
This backyard haunt maze is free to visit, but donations are accepted.

The Haunting of Parkside is on Petrel Place, in Parkside Crossing Community. Just go there and look for the fog and cemetery!
Please remember that this is a private residence, so please be considerate of the homeowners, the property and the neighbors. Please be especially careful of children who might be trick-or-treating on Halloween.
The haunt maze will take about 7 or 8 minutes to walk through.
The Haunting of Parkside will be taking place:
- Friday, October 27, 2023: 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- Saturday, October 28, 2023, 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- Tuesday, October 31, 2023, 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
