It takes place Sunday, November 30, 2025, from 5 to 8 p.m., at Customshop, 1601 Elizabeth Avenue, Charlotte, North Carolina.
Five standout chefs and operators will come together for an evening built around community, craft, and giving back.
Admission is free. You’ll pay for your food and drink. Items range from $0 to $30.
Participating talent includes:
- Customshop – Chef Andres Kaifer
- Emmy Lou’s – Chef Adriana Cavazos
- Anora – Chef Matt Moore
- Hello Uncle – Michael Le
- Carnal – Cristian Villalvazo
The menu will include a signature dish from each chef ranging from flan and arroz con leche to a Cubano-inspired smashburger, carnitas tacos, shrimp cocktail, and a Thai-style beef salad. Drinks will be curated by Alex Bridges and Kyle Brown of Customshop.
All revenue from “Hands Please” will be donated to the Carolina Migrant Network, supporting legal and humanitarian services for migrant families throughout the Carolinas. La Bodeguita will also have a resource and donation table set up on-site.
