Front Porch returns in a new location and day of week

Front Porch Sundays has been a staple in the South End, bringing 100+ vendors to a market once a month on Sundays for several years.

They’ve announced that they are moving to FreeMoreWest in 2026. FreeMoreWest is a district on the West Side, just outside of Uptown Charlotte. Specifically, the market takes place on the 2200 block of Thrift Road.

In addition, the markets will be taking place the first Saturday of the month, instead of Sunday. So the name is changing to Front Porch.

Front Porch will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the first Sunday of the month from April to December, 2026.
