University City Regional Library, at 5528 Waters Edge Village Drive, Charlotte, North Carolina, is presenting Free RPG Day Festival on Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The best known RPG (Role Playing Game) is Dungeons and Dragons, but there are many more RPGs, and you’ll get the chance to try them out at this festival.
This event connects the diverse Charlotte gaming community and features a panel discussion, literacy activities, board games, crafting, tabletop role-playing games (TTRPG), workshops, and so much more.
You can make a D&D character and paint a mini-fig. Visit Makerspace to 3D print, use a heat press or make a button.
Swordwind Historical Martial Arts will present a sword fighting demonstration and a longsword workshop.
There will be lots of gaming tables to join, plus giveaways, information about local gaming organizations and a gaming lounge.
It’s FREE to attend. The festival is intended for ages 12+, including adults. Cosplay is welcome, but weapons of any kind, real or fake, are not permitted. The age requirement is older for some of the events. Registration is required for many of the events. Find the registration links here.
