Communities Doing Good Inc., (CDGI) will be hosting four free health screening and food giveaway events. There will be free general health screenings as well as free distribution of fresh, organic, farm raised produce.
The health screenings include blood pressure, diabetes checks, and more.

Communities Doing Good Inc. is a home-grown organization. Here’s some information about it, from its Facebook page:
CDGI was initially founded by the Sugar Creek Church of Christ as a vehicle to transform the Sugar Creek & Hidden Valley neighborhoods. Although, the two organizations are separate they work closely to achieve a common goal ‘to do good’.
By working collaboratively with residents and community partners to revitalize neighborhoods, cultivate community wellbeing, and improve communal health-n-wellness CDGI creates lasting change for those most in need.
Through strategic community investments, and local and regional partnerships we leverage good works through health and wellness services, youth and family development initiatives, and financial literacy programs that empower and encourage participants to become self-sufficient.
