About the sessions:
October 20th, 9am-12pm – Rock Paper Scissors
In this workshop, we’ll be using the most powerful and popular programming language around, JavaScript. The Wild, Wild West of coding, JavaScript allows us to do crazy and amazing things on the internet. We will be focusing on creating an interactive and customizable Rock, Paper, Scissors game that will put the old fashioned way to shame.
October 27th, 9am-12pm – JewelBots*
In this workshop, we’ll be working with Jewelbots, the first social coding toy. JewelBots are customizable bracelets that can be quickly and easily programmed by first-time coders. We’ll be using the Arduino IDE, a programming environment, and C++, a complicated and powerful programming language, to bring the bracelets to life. *JewelBots will be provided at no charge.
