Toys, Games and Trains
Kings Mountain Historical Museum’s Toys, Games and Trains exhibit runs from November 25th to December 31st, 2022, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesdays through Saturdays. The Museum is closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
This annual exhibit fills the Museum with model train displays assembled by local “S” Gaugers, as well as railroad memorabilia, and antique toys and games.
Spirit of Christmas Past
Spirits of Christmas Past is a special event at the museum on December 3rd, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Step back into Christmas’ past with antique toys, electric trains, historic games and roaring fires. The historic Barber House will be decked out for the holiday season with ongoing hearth cooking demonstrations on the museum grounds.
Enjoy music by The Carolina Thunder Mugs, woodworking demonstrations, a revolutionary war reenactment camp and more! The Museum will also be open until 6 p.m. to see the trains. More info.
Santa and Mrs. Claus Visit the Museum
Santa and Mrs. Claus will be at the Museum on Saturday, December 10th, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mrs. Claus will be reading “The Night Before Christmas,” and Santa will be available for pictures next to the tree. Free admission.
