MoRA (Monroe Road Advocates) and McClintock Woods Garden Club are presenting a free screening of the film, “Join or Die,” on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., at East City Church, 6850 Monroe Road, Charlotte, North Carolina.
It’s free to attend, but space is limited and reservations are required.
Join or Die is a film about why you should join a club—and why the fate of America depends on it. Follow the story of America’s civic unraveling through the journey of Robert Putnam, whose legendary “Bowling Alone” research into American community decline may hold the answers to our democracy’s present crisis. More information about the film is available here.
A short discussion will take place after the film.
The McClintock Middle School Girl Scout Troop 3307 will be selling cookies before the film. They will be accepting cash, credit, Paypal or Venmo. Most cookie boxes are $6 (except the one gluten free option is $7).
Complimentary snacks and drinks will be provided by the McClintock Woods Garden Club.
