All Salt
This show is a single release party for their song “All Salt,” which features the multi-national award-winning spoken artist Bluz, who will also be performing at the show.
How did Bluz get involved in a song by the indie folk duo, falllift?
The latest single, “All Salt”, speaks to the climate of today’s society. The duo played a show in Charlotte, NC where Bluz, a multi-national-award-winning poet, was on the bill as well. At the end of the show, they all decided to do an impromptu performance of the song which Bluz had never heard. He weaved his lyrics into seamlessly. In that moment, it was decided that the final recording would include his spoken word.
You can download the song from Bandcamp on November 7, 2025, and all proceeds go to the artist. Find them at falllift.bandcamp.com. It will also be available on streaming platforms November 14.
The Show
Besides performances by falllift and Bluz, the show features:
- Jason “Greazy Keys” Atkins (you might know him as the organ player at the Charlotte Checkers games!) with rhythm section, Adam Henry and Kjeff Hansen (the k is silent.)
- Folk songwriter Elizabeth McCorvey (her voice has to be heard to be believed!)
- A moment of dueling violins with Elizabeth McCorvey and Emanuel Wynter
- John Brewster, a free-spirited singer-songwriter
- Low Groves — tiptoes the lines of traditional folk and indie rock
- Tarot readings by Heather Gaffney
Tickets
Tickets are $12 in advance and $18 the day of the show. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m. Buy tickets here.
