University City Regional Library, at 301 East W.T. Harris Boulevard, Charlotte, NC, is celebrating its 30th anniversary on Tuesday, February 14th, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
This free event is for the whole community. There will be storytelling, henna art, free books, crafts and more. Light refreshments will be served.
- 10 to 11 a.m.: Chick-Fil-A mascot
- 10:15 to 10:45 a.m.: Family Storytime
- 10:45 to 11:45 a.m.: NASCAR mascot “Champ”
- 10:15 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Mint Museum activity table (all ages)
- 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.: World map activity (all ages)
- 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Display of photos and stories of “the way it was” in 1993
- 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Book giveaway table
- 3 to 4 p.m.: Traditional storytelling by Becca Worthington
- 2 to 4 p.m.: Community Resources
- 5 to 6 p.m.: Henna Artist (teen volunteer)
