Target is holding its very popular car seat trade-in event again this year. It takes place from April 16th to 29th, 2023.
Trade in any car seat and you can get 20% off coupon for a new car seat, booster seat, stroller or other select baby gear item.
Select baby gear includes:
- New car seat

- Stroller
- Play yards
- High chairs
- Swings
- Rockers
- Bouncers
- Walkers
- Entertainers
- Jumpers
You must be enrolled in Target Circle to take advantage of this offer.
Target will have drop-off boxes for old car seats near Guest Services. Drop off your car seat there.
Scan sheets will be placed on the drop-off boxes for you to scan on your mobile device into your Circle account, where the 20% coupon will appear.
Target introduced its first car seat trade-in program in April 2016. Since then, 2.19 million car seats–or 32.9 million pounds of car seat material—have been recycled.
