The Evening Muse is one of Charlotte’s treasures. An intimate music venue in NoDa, it’s hosted night after beautiful night of music for years. In addition, the Muse has hosted events like R U OK, CLT?, that brings awareness and openness to the subject of mental health.
The Evening Muse has been a caring community partner in Charlotte for a long time.
Like so many other music venues, it’s had to cancel its shows for at least a few weeks, causing financial challenges for the owners, bartenders and other staff.
When we come out on the other side of this, we want the Muse to be there for us, because we don’t want to imagine Charlotte without it.
So, some Charlotte songwriters are joining together (virtually) to raise money to help The Evening Muse.
Four Charlotte songwriters will each stream a half hour set from their own home, and donations during the live streams will go to The Evening Muse.
Virtual Songwriter’s Round for the Evening Muse takes place Sunday, March 22nd, 2020, starting at 7 p.m.
If you go to that Facebook event on Sunday evening you’ll see the links for the live streams for each artist.
