Celebrate the arts along the scenic South Fork River at the Rumination Arts Festival! It takes place Saturday, November 4, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., inside and outside Confluence, 117 Center Street, Cramerton, North Carolina, and in surrounding locations.
This day will be filled with creativity, live music, and opportunities to contribute to community art projects. It’s a celebration of artistic expression and community spirit, offering an array of activities and attractions for all ages.
This is a free event, but there might be charges for workshops.

Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest
9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Throughout Centennial Center and surrounding Sidewalks
Check in on the Confluence Front Porch. Participants of all ages are invited to participate, interpreting the theme “What Cramerton Means to Me” in chalk.
Unveiling of Free Little Gallery
4 p.m.

The festival will also feature the unveiling of the new Free Little Art Gallery, showcasing tiny artworks created by the community. These captivating pieces add an artistic touch to Cramerton, embodying the town’s creative spirit.
Community Art Panels
10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Centennial Center at the Gazebo
Art enthusiasts can also participate in the creation of Community Art Panels – collaborative pieces that celebrate Cramerton’s identity. These panels will be displayed in the town, demonstrating the power of artistic collaboration.
Local Arts Vendors
11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Centennial Center
Local artists and crafters will be on hand with a diverse range of artwork and handcrafted treasures at the Local Arts Vendors section. It’s the perfect opportunity to discover unique, locally-made gifts and support the talented artists in the community.
Plastic Bottle Flower Workshop
2:30 to 3:30 p.m.

For those interested in sustainable art, the festival offers a Plastic Bottle Flower Workshop, where participants can craft beautiful flowers from upcycled plastic bottles, promoting both creativity and environmental consciousness.
