Ballantyne Jewish Center is presenting two public Menorah lighting celebrations for Hanukkah. These events are free and family friendly.
Menorah Lighting at Stonecrest at Piper Glen
7800 Rea Road
Tuesday, December 8th, 2015, 5:30 p.m.
A giant balloon Menorah will be lit. Donuts, Latkes (potato pancakes that are a Hanukkah tradition) and drinks will be served and there will be crafts and games for the kids.
Menorah Lighting in Downtown Waxhaw
Wednesday, December 9th, 2015, 5:30 p.m.
Make history at the first Public Menorah Lighting in Waxhaw. Donuts, Latkes, Drinks and there will be crafts and games for the kids.
