NoDaGardenWalk offers the chance to visit some of the magical spaces in NoDa. Several garden gates and other locations will be open for tours, to meet people who can help you with your own garden, or just for visits on Saturday, June 11th, 2022, from 10 am. to 12 p.m.
Start at NoDa Company Store and then visit any of the participating locations. This is a free event.

NoDa Company Store
3221 Yadkin Avenue, Charlotte
Visit the beautiful “Beertanical Garden” and the NoDa GreenTeam information booth. These organizations will be at NoDa Company Store during the event:
- The Bulb: Provides mostly local produce, as well as education on health and wellness, to food insecure communities.
- Grass to Habitat: Charlotte Wildlife Stewards will be here to guide you in creating, protecting and preserving wildlife habitats.
- Down to Earth National Wellness Pet Treats: Natural oven-baked plant-based pet treats for dogs and cats.
- 100 Gardens: Learn about the possibilities of aquaponics — combining water, plants and fish for a different approach to sustainable gardening.
Smelly Cat Coffeehouse and Roastery
514 E 36th Street, Charlotte
Check out Smelly Cat’s edible and flower garden. Also, learn about how they turn coffee grounds and eggshells into compost with Crown Town Compost.
Local Loaf
800 E. 35th Street, Charlotte
Local Loaf will show off their work with Patio Farmer, a small business that helps individuals and businesses in the Charlotte area to grow their own food in small places.
Highland Montessori Elementary School Native Plant Garden
McDowell Street at Charles Avenue
Please enter on McDowell Street. Highland Mill Montessori has worked with TreesCharlotte and local volunteers to convert an unused grass field into a children’s educational nature trail and a thriving pollinator garden. The butterfly garden and walking trail will be open for visitors.
Little Watt Farm

The Haags

Learn about replacing your shallow turf with beautiful, deep-rooted and food-providing plants. No tour available, but stop by for info and to check it out.
Tree Save NoDa
Next to 3314 N Alexander Street, Charlotte
Meet the tree standing strong and rising awareness for Charlotte’s tree canopy. TreesCharlotte will be here with some info and seedlings.
