Mecklenburg County is distributing free COVID-19 tests on Saturday, January 29th, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at two locations. Read on for info on the distribution.
It’s better to get tested at a testing site, but if you’re unable to obtain testing through other methods and you are either experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or believe you may have been exposed to someone infected with COVID-19, this is an alternate way to get tested.
Also, please learn how to order free COVID-19 tests from the federal government and the State of North Carolina.
The distribution will take place Saturday, January 29th, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at these locations:
- J.M. Alexander Middle School, 12010 Hambright Rd, Huntersville, NC 28078
- Central Piedmont Community College – Harper Campus, 315 W Hebron St, Charlotte, NC 28273 (Distribution will be in the large parking lot on Hebron Street, across from the main campus entrance.)
You can get up to four tests per household, while supplies last.
Shipping delays or dangerous weather might affect the schedule, so check mecknc.gov for updates.
