Queen City Culture Vultures is one year old! In that year its Uptown Funk walking tour has become TripAdvisor 5-star rated first stop for visitors and new residents, engaged over 1500 CMS students and launched the National City Walking Tour Challenge.
To celebrate, it’s offering FREE tours! Read on to learn how to register for a free walking tour of Uptown Charlotte.
Uptown Funk — the Story of Charlotte is a one-hour and one-mile loop of Center City Charlotte, highlighting Charlotte’s history, sports, arts and culture. The tours start in Romare Bearden Park and end at The Firebird sculpture in front of the Uptown Museums. The tours are easy to moderate to walk, and have broad appeal.
The tours are normally $15.
The free tours are being offered at 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. from Saturday, October 5, to Sunday, October 13, 2024. Dates that currently have availability are:
- Saturday, October 5
- Sunday, October 6
- Wednesday, October 9
- Friday, October 11
- Saturday, October 12
- Sunday, October 13
