Charlotte Mecklenburg Library is presenting Terrific Tuesdays, free shows for kids Tuesdays this summer, from June 14th, 2016, through August 9th at ImaginOn. The show will take place twice on each of these Tuesdays, at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.. You must sign up in advance for your free tickets, and past experience shows that the spots go very, very quickly. You can start signing up 13 days before the particular show, and you’d be wise to do so that very day. Registration for the first show starts June 1. On that date, you’ll see a link on the Terrific Tuesdays page to reserve the free tickets. Reserved tickets will be released 15 minutes before the performance if they’re not picked up.
June 14: Zelnik the Magician with “Race of Champions!”

There’s the team captain, Zelnik (aka Zelnik the Magician), Jack Rabbit (the puppet) and the children at your library. Along the way everyone will be learning a few things about exercising their bodies AND exercising their brains!

The Jolly Lollies are comprised of fun loving musicians inspired by traditional American folk music. Their hope is to tell stories through their songs that encourage children and adults to move and experience their sound! Bring your dancing shoes ‘cause their music will get you on your feet!
