Concord Tree Lighting Ceremony

The 27th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony is on Friday, November 22, 2024, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at Coruthouse Plaza.

Also, enjoy food trucks, a kids’ zone, and Santa and Mrs. Claus. Fireworks will end the celebration.

In addition, there will be an illuminated vehicle display that visitors can see as they make their way from Rotary Square to Bicentennial Lot on Church Street, from where they can watch the fireworks!

Schedule of Events

• 6 to 8 p.m.: Stage and Illuminate Vehicles on Church Street
• 6 to 8 p.m.: Festive entertainment and Santa on Means Plaza and Union Street
• 6 to 8 p.m.: Children’s entertainment and food trucks at Barbrick Avenue & Market Street
• 8 p.m.: Tree lighting at Means Plaza
• 8:30 p.m.: Fireworks viewing from Bicentennial Parking Lot

Concord Christmas Parade

The 96th Concord Christmas Parade takes place on Saturday, November 23, 2024. It will start at 2:30 p.m.

Assuming that the route is the same as previous years, it will start at Church Street North and Lake Concord Drive. It will then travel from Lake Concord Road, traveling south on Church Street to Buffalo Avenue, turning right on Buffalo, left on Union Street, traveling south on Union Street to Cabarrus Avenue. All entries will disperse at this point. No parking will be allowed on sections of Church Street, and Union Street North.
