Charlotte Museum of History, 3500 Shamrock Drive, is celebrating the 4th of July on Monday, July 4th, 2016, from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Enjoy presentations, tours of the Hezekiah Alexander Home Site, children’s crafts, and refreshments. The cost is $5 a person or $20 a family, and free for members. Register here.

- 1:15 p.m.: Tom Phlegar lecture: The Southern Campaign of the American Revolution
- 2:00 p.m.: Museum closes
