Chickadee Hill Farms, at 181 East Monbo Road, Statesville, North Carolina, is hosting its 5th Annual Tree Festival.
This holiday event takes place on dates from November 29 to December 15, 2024, from 4 to 8 p.m.:
- November 29-30
- December 1
- December 5-8
- December 12-15
Admission is $15 for adults, $10 for kids 12 and under, and free for kids under 2 years old.

The event features 60 decorated, lit trees, each with its own theme. All the trees will be raffled off. The winner of each one receives the tree, decorations, topper and tree skirt. One of the trees includes $1,000!
Tree Giveaway Day is December 16, 2024. The winners will be called on the phone. You you need to pick up the tree on December 16 or 17.
Each admission ticket will come with 4 free raffle tickets which are good for all trees including the $1,000 money tree and 1 free ticket for the raffle door prize!
A portion of the proceeds of the raffles go to Piedmont Animal Rescue.
In addition, including in your ticket:
- Access to the lit up holiday walking path with wire-frame Christmas displays
- Train ride
- Santa visit
- Kids can race stick horses over small wooden jumps
- Pet mini-ponies, highland cows and the donkey from outside the fence
Make the visit extra special with the mini-pony experience or the Grinch experience! (Extra charge.)
There are also carnival games. Pay for tickets to play the games, and win prizes. Also for sale are food, beverages and light-up wands.
