This guided walk offers a unique way to experience Charlotte’s past. Along the one-mile route, attendees will hear stories of strange deaths, true crime, historic figures, and whispered supernatural tales, all set among the monuments of Elmwood and Pinewood.
The tour begins at the unusual headstone of John King, remembered for his tragic death involving an elephant.
While there are no formal age restrictions, adult themes will be discussed, and parental discretion is advised.
You’ll not only enjoy a fascinating look into Charlotte’s past, but you’ll also be contributing to the ongoing restoration of its historic cemeteries.
