Editions — Coffee and Bookstore, at 217 S. Main Street, Kannapolis, regularly hosts fiber classes in their fiber room. The classes are free, but you need to purchase the materials in the store.

Friday Classes
- Friday, September 12, 2025, 5 to 7 p.m.: Tunisian (Crochet) — learn the Smock Stitch! For intermediate crocheters ages 16+.
- Friday, September 19, 2025, 5 to 7 p.m.: Knitting Basics Part 1 — learn to cast on & the knit stitch. For beginners ages 16+. This is the first of three beginner lessons. Be sure to join part 2 on 10/3 and part 3 on 10/17!
- Friday, September 26, 2025, 5 to 7 p.m.: Crochet Basics Part 1 — learn to chain and single crochet. For beginners ages 16+. This is the first of three beginner lessons. Be sure to join part 2 on 10/10 and part 3 on 10/24!
Weekly Open Tables
- Hooks & Books – meets every Tuesday afternoon at 3 pm at Editions. Bring your WIP and join the fun – no RSVP required.
- Sock Lab – meets alternating Thursdays at 2 pm (9/18, 10/2) at Editions; for those that want a little help with their sock knitting projects or who want to learn new techniques.
- Sweater Camp – meets alternating Thursdays at 2 pm (9/11, 9/25) at Editions; for those that want a little help with their sweater knitting projects or who want to learn new techniques.
