Downtown Jazz Jam is a monthly event on the first Sunday of the month, from at 6 to 8 p.m., at Slow Play Brewing, 274 Columbia Avenue, Rock Hill, South Carolina.

It’s free to enjoy, either as a participant or as a listener.
Jazz musicians of all skill levels, including students, are invited to participate.
Jazz musicians of all ages and all skill levels are welcome to join the jam session. Those under 21 years old should be accompanied by an adult.
The musicians play popular jazz standards, including swing, Latin, blues, R&B, and ragtime at the monthly Downtown Jazz Jam. Musicians should bring their own instrument/amp, along with a music stand and Real Book if needed. A drum set and small PA system are provided.
The goals of the event are to promote jazz, have fun and gain experience playing music together in public, and make musical contacts. Listeners can relax to great American jazz standards and enjoy food/drink for purchase if they choose.
