ASC Culture Blocks, funded by Mecklenburg County, offers many free classes for all ages, including fitness, art, music, dancing and more. See all of the Culture Blocks offerings.
Discovering Your Creative Self is a set of classes taught by Adele Greenfield. These classes are all free, and are for adults ages 18+.
These are drop-in classes. Attend one in a series, or all of them! Registration is optional, but encouraged for the “Exploring Creative Arts” class.

Salsa Line Dance for Fun & Fitness

Tune into Latin rhythms as you salsa dance. With a little cha cha and Bachata in the mix, you’ll improve cardio fitness, core strength, flexibility and balance. No partners needed. All skill levels welcome.

Dance to upbeat popular songs and traditional tunes reflecting the history of clogging. Borrowing from tap and Irish dance, you’ll improve cardio fitness, core strength, flexibility and balance. All skill levels welcome.
