Dilworth United Methodist Church, at 605 East Blvd, Charlotte, North Carolina, is hosting a free concert on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at 3 p.m.
The concert features the church’s organist, Brenda Fernandez, on piano, and Caitlin Jones on marimba.
The program will include music by living composers, including:
- A new composition by Zach Zubow (of Charlotte) for marimba and piano
- A marimba solo written by Andy Harnsberger
- A solo piece written by Frank Martin
- A marimba concerto written by Roumen Boyadjieff, Jr.
