Painting Sugar Skulls
On Wednesday, November 1, 2023, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., preteens and teens are invited to Myers Park Library, 1361 Queens Road, Charlotte, North Carolina, to paint sugar skulls. All materials and instructions will be provided.
This is a free event, but registration is required and space is limited. Register here.
Día de Muertos Celebration

Allegra Westbrooks Regional Library, 2412 Beatties Ford Road, Charlotte, North Carolina, is hosting a Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
This is a free event.
It will include music, arts and crafts, face painting, and an Ofrenda.
An Ofrenda is an altar that displays pictures of deceased love ones, as well as their favorite items. If you’d like to contribute a picture to the ofrenda, you may bring it to the event or send it to BFRCML@gmail.com.
Teen Crafternoon: Día de los Muertos Tin Skulls
On Wednesday, November 8, 2023, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., teens are invited to Independence Regional Library, 6000 Conference Drive, Charlotte, North Carolina, for Teen Crafternoon: Día de Muertos Tin Skulls.
All supplies will be provided. This is a free event.
