Local artist Rosalia Torres-Weiner is sharing Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead) through a mini-residency with UNC Charlotte’s Office of Identity, Equity and Engagement.
She will be creating an Ofrenda at UNC Charlotte’s Popp-Martin Student Union Art Gallery, 8845 Craver Road, Charlotte, North Carolina. An Ofrenda is an altar to honor and remember loved ones who have passed away, and is an integral part of Day of the Dead celebrations.
