
Ada Jenkins Center is holding a Juneteenth Celebration on Thursday, June 19, 2026 from 5:30 to 8 p.m., at the Ada Jenkins Center, 212 Gamble Street, Davidson, North Carolina.
Juneteenth celebrates the emancipation of African Americans. There are many Juneteenth celebrations throughout the Charlotte area.
This year’s event will be held throughout the entire campus and will highlight local organizations and businesses- culminating with a short program and celebration in the gymnasium.
This FREE celebration and family day includes:
- Short- program + musical performances
- Non-profit + For-profit vendors
- A focus on Black-owned businesses
- Novant Health Community Care Cruiser/ Free health screenings
- Dessert offerings
- Kids Zone
- Free meal for the first 300 people!
