Creative Mornings is an international organization that is devoted to connecting the creative communities in cities around the world. Each month attendees gather to enjoy coffee, friendly people, some free breakfast food, and to enjoy inspiring talks by other creative people.
Each week there’s a global theme, but each city’s chapter interprets it in a different way. And, although Creative Mornings is about creativity, this doesn’t mean it’s just about artists. Creativity in all arenas — businesses, non-profits, engineering — is explored and celebrated.
Creative Mornings is in 223 cities in 67 countries. But the best Creative Morning community is right here in Charlotte. I might be biased.
These days, of course, gathering is a bit of a problem, so Creative Mornings Charlotte has shifted to an online format, using Zoom. The in-person events often sold out very quickly, but the virtual events are open to all. If the Zoom meeting fills up, you can watch on YouTube.
The next Creative Mornings Charlotte event is on Friday, March 5th, 2021, at 8:15 a.m.
The theme is “Ripple.”
The event will start out with a live performance by musician Harvey Cummings II.
The featured speaker is Charlotte comedian and podcaster, Tara Brown, who will address the global theme of “Ripple” with her infectious blend of laughter and love.
There are always lots of surprises at Creative Mornings Charlotte.
There are still tickets available for the Zoom meeting. Sign up here. And if they are gone, remember, you can still watch, live, on YouTube.
