MLK: Bridging Musical Worlds is an annual MLK Day tradition in Charlotte that brings together music from the rich, diverse jazz and classical traditions. This year, 2017, it will take place on Sunday, January 15th, at 5 p.m., at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 3400 Beatties Ford Road, in Charlotte’s historic west side.
Tickets are $5 and you can purchase them online now.
The Bridging Musical Worlds program is a collaborative effort between A Sign Of The Times the Carolinas, the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra String Quartet and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte School of Arts & Design.
Each year, these organizations perform music dedicated to the life and works of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
