Common Market Oakwold, 4420-A Monroe Road, Charlotte, North Carolina, is holding their 8th Anniversary Party and Renaissance Festival on May 3, 2025, from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.
It’s free to attend, and family-friendly.
The festival includes:
- Sword fighting from Swordwind Historical Swordsmanship Society (1 to 4 p.m.)
- Renaissance faire treats such as turkey legs and bread bowls
- Live performances by Dumpster Service (5 p.m.) and Dallas Tetanus (6 p.m.
- Renaissance costumes — prizes for best dressed
- Special tastings from Fonta Flora, Petty Thieves and Atlanta Cider
- Medieval marketplace
